How To Get The Most From Your Article Marketing Strategy

Article marketing is a great source for Entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Not only is it a great way to brand yourself and practice magnetic marketing but if done right, it is a great way to drive free targeted web traffic to your site.

Here are some simple tips to get the most out of your article marketing strategy.

Instead of just writing articles and sending traffic to your capture page, product or service, work backwards from your blog to your article marketing.

Figure out what you want to write about on your blog and do your keyword research for the headline and body.

Write your article and share it via social media, social bookmarking and any free or paid tribes/content sharing networks you belong to.

Now create your backlinks.

Write 5 (or more) articles on the same subject and submit them to as many article directories as you can including the anchor text link that you want to point back to your blog. Use an article submitter if you have one. If not, just use some of the top directories.

At this point you have a piece of content on your blog with related content on sites that Google loves pointing back to your site.

This strategy, if done consistently, should enable you to get the most out of article marketing and gain lots of free traffic.

Here are some ways you can receive traffic from article marketing.

  • From the article directories
  • From your articles ranking in search engines
  • From your site ranking in search engines
  • From other web publishers putting the articles on their sites (which actually creates even more backlinks to your site)

Remember… Consistency is king. do this every day and you should have some nice traffic and leads for your business.

Dan Kennedy’s Magnetic Marketing System Presentation

On Sunday evening, I came across this video presentation by direct marketing legend Dan Kennedy, “The Millionaire Maker.”

Both the funded proposal and attraction marketing principle that we see in Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring course are ideas that got their roots from this Magnetic Marketing System as well as many other online and offline direct response marketing techniques.

This video presentation is a little long but the things you can take away from this free information could be a game changer.

Enjoy,

Steve

How To Get A New Stream Of Leads And Cash Using Text Ad Exchanges

I have been using text ad exchanges to build my list and earn affiliate income streams for the past 18 months and I think these advertising and web traffic sources are often overlooked.

Here are some tips to get some good leads and cash from a new source of traffic.

In short, these text ad exchanges are free to join, you get a promo code that will give you something like 4 banner ads, 3 solo ads and 4 text ad links.

I try to send about 5 solo ads per day and put up some text and banner ads as well.

You can earn more credits after your free advertising runs out by viewing any of these advertisements onsite or in your inbox. If you don’t want to spend time on viewing ads you can just move on to the next text ad exchange.

I have found that advertising solutions and training products have gotten me better results than a direct sales opportunity for example.

Tips for success:

Use a different gmail address so your inbox does not get overloaded.

Do not take the one-time offers for upgrades, just use the free account and the free promo codes.

Offer solutions and training for your list building.

Be consistent and send solo ads everyday.

Once you are done with a sites promo code, you can find other text ad exchanges advertised in your inbox from a solo ad or on-site in the text link ads or banner ads. There are hundreds of these sites.

Hope this helps your web traffic and list building tactics. Here are a couple of my favorites to get you started.

Ads2Infinity

iBrowz
iBrowz lets you send a free super solo to many different ad exchanges!

Have fun!

The Entrepreneur Mindset – Burn The Ships

In the movie The Hunt For Red October, Captain Marko Ramius, the Captain of a Soviet Ballistic Missile Nuclear Submarine that was defecting to the United States, tells his crew that there would be no going back if things got tough because he sent a letter to a Soviet Government official and stated their intention to defect.

He brought up a historical fact that when he reached the New World, Cortez burned his ships. That way his men were well motivated to survive in this new environment.

I think this is a perfect way of describing the mindset of a true Entrepreneur. The mindset required for success is quite different from someone opening a brick and mortar business or getting into direct sales and hoping it will work from them.

Whether you make the decision and develop the belief or you unconsciously find yourself making the turn, I honestly think that it is easier to succeed in any venture if you have gone all in and pushed your chips to the center of the table.

It may even be more fun…
